I prepare individual quotes so they can be as low as possible. My prices are fully inclusive and take in travel, music and instrument hire and preparation fees, insurance, and a full consultation with the venue. Please get in touch for a formal quotation.
The market for wedding musicians is a crowded one, and it’s entirely unregulated.
If you book me, you can be secure in the knowledge that I am a highly experienced and professional musician. I passed Grade 8 violin with distinction at age 15, and have played Vivaldi’s Four Seasons on some of Europe’s most respected concert stages. And before you book me you can audition me. You can hear me play live, either in person or using Skype. You can pick every song, every piece, every note (if you prefer), and I’ll give your wedding the same musical attention to detail I would give my own.
My home is in Buckinghamshire, close to the M40, M4, M1 and M25. From this central location, I travel across South England and Wales. Recent performances have been in Cardiff, Southampton, Colchester and Birmingham. A violinist can travel quickly and easily!
I can play solo violin for you or perform with a pianist – I have a pianist I regularly perform with. To hear us in action together, please go to celebratewithmusic.co.uk.
If you would like to book me, a deposit of 50% of the total fee is paid at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due a month before your date, at the same time as you finalise your music choices. You can pay sooner than that if you wish, of course. Full terms are included in the booking form I send you – so everyone knows where they stand. A receipt is provided on request.
Yes, this is no problem. A violinist can move on the spur of the moment, with no need to stop playing.
I’m happy to play with other performers, amateur or professional. If a rehearsal is required, this can often be arranged a few hours before the performance.
Yes. You can select every song or genre I play, if you wish.
Yes, and I’m happy to email proof of either of these to venues requiring them.
